Create the story

On the STORY FORM on the page of the story
  1. Enter the name or nickname of the reader, as you want it to appear in the story.
  2. Click on the gender of the reader.
  3. If the story asks for additional names of friends, teacher, parent, or others, enter the name the reader uses to address the person.
  4. Click on the gender for that person.
  5. Some stories ask for the name of a representative, senator, or other public figure.
  6. After finding the name, insert the name and gender.

If you want to read the story on the screen:
  1. Click on the SHOW button.

If you want to print the story to make a booklet:
  1. Click the "Print the Story" button in the Story Form.
  2. Click on "File" and then "Page Setup" in your browser.
  3. Select "Landscape".
  4. Delete any text in "Header" and "Footer" Spaces.
  5. Click "OK".
  6. Make sure your printer is turned on and has paper in it.
  7. Click on "File" and then "Print" in your browser.
  8. Click on "OK".
  9. After the pages are printed
  10. Fold each page in half with the print side out.
  11. Wrap the cover around the open ends of the pages.
  12. Staple.
